New School MFA alumni Andrew Cotto and Dvora Meyers will be featured at the Brooklyn Quarterly event "Narrating the Divide." 7:00pm, BookCourt.

H.I.P. LIT, founded by New School alumni, will co-host a reading with The Rumpus featuring New School MFA alumni Stephanie Danler, Yahdon Israel, and Matthew Yeager, among others. 9:00pm, Be Electric Studios.

Saturday, September 17

Visiting faculty member Andrea Davis Pinkney is the featured author at the Brooklyn Book Festival Reception for Teachers. 10:00am, NYU's Tandon School of of Engineering.

Faculty member Elaine Equi is featured in a reading and discussion called "Poetry on Art,"co-sponsored by Poetry Magazine and The Brooklyn Rail. 3:00pm, Knockdown Center.


 

The New School Square LogoSunday, September 18

Creative Writing at The New School will be stationed at booths 607 & 608 at the book fair, located at 209 Joralemon Street. The book fair will run from 10:00am to 6:00pm, rain or shine.

MFA alum Stephanie Danler will be featured on the panel "Youth in Revolt." 1:00pm, North Stage, Cadman Plaza East.

Faculty member Andrea Flournoy will be featured on the panel "A House is Only A Home." 3:30pm, Congregation Mt. Sinai.
